People fear whatever it is that they do not OVERstand!


I used to be homophobic when I was a young girl, but now I am arriving to a point in which I am OVERstanding or grasping HOMOSEXUALITY, GENDER BENDER, TRANS-GENDER, and QUEER PEOPLE! I am no longer afraid of members of the LGBTIQ community. I am very comfortable with being around because I am sure about my sexual preference and I am sure about my sexuality. I no longer feel the need to say "NO HOMO" AFTER EVERY SENTENCE, which actually in my opinion, subconsciously tells others that you are HOMO or you're not sure if you are or not! I voted NO on Prop. 8 during the November 2008 elections and I have no shame in it and I support the happiness for all of humanity.


Hate crimes or discrimination against members of the LGBTIQ community are happening everyday and I believe that the people who commit these crimes are actually homosexuals deep down inside. If you think about it, most of the time a male commits a hate crime against another gay male, he almost Always uses sexual abuse or rape as a means to express his hatred. So I question the predator, Is he or she truly a HomoSexual or maybe even a Homosexualphile(Love of Homo's) and is this person attacking others because they are mad that they feel as if they can not be open and honest about their sexuality? I believe that if you hate a person, you really love them because you love them and what they do so much that you start to hate them or hate on them becuz they are doing whatever it is that you want to do, but can't!


As for now I would like to leave you all with this, If we begin to ATLEAST TRY to OVERSTAND the things in which we don't understand, then we will be less afraid of each other. Also i WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT YOU SHOULD NOT JUDGE A PERSON BASED ON HIS OR HERS SEXUALITY, LIFESTYLE, OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THAT PERSON HAS TO OFFER YOU OR WHAT YOU CAN OFFER THEM, SO PLZ DON'T MISS OUT 0N YOUR BLESSINGS JUST BECUZ A PERSON IS GAY, LESBIAN, BI-SEXUAL OR TRANSEXUAL OR TRANSGENDER!

Ethopia: Hey Chance! How you been lately? I haven't seen you in forever. Have you been hiding out? You've been sick or something?
Chancellor: Naw, not at all. I've been grinding it out for school and I've been preparing for the Multicultural Fair, you know the one in May?
Ethopia: Oh yeah, I've been seeing flyers for that...I was thinking about having a booth. You know I make jewelry?
Chancellor: Oh yeah, well here is the application form and all you need to do is pay $10 for a sellers permit and you'll be straight. I know this is hella random but would you happen to be talking to anyone at the moment?
Ethopia: Nope, not at the moment. But I do have my eyes on a certain somebody!
Chancellor: WHo? What year is he?
Ethopia: Chance, you know I Can't tell you all of that! But I will say that he is a 2nd year and I think you might know him.
